Billing FAQ

Prices and limits below reflect the current launch pricing. The Pricing page in the Dashboard always shows the live, authoritative numbers (they're driven by Stripe), so check there before quoting figures.

Plans

What plans are available?

Pro is the most popular tier. Enterprise pricing, credits, and limits are set per contract.

Is there annual billing?

Yes — each paid plan has an annual option billed yearly at roughly a two-months-free discount versus paying monthly. Toggle monthly/annual on the Pricing page.

Is there a free trial or launch offer?

The standard plans don't include a time-based trial by default — the Free plan is the no-cost way to try MOD. A launch promotion for the first 100 customers is applied automatically at checkout when eligible.

What are credits?

Credits are consumed when processing tasks run; each node type has a credit cost. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing cycle (unused credits do not roll over).

What is overage?

On paid plans you can opt in to overage so work keeps running after you've used your monthly credits, billed at your plan's per-credit rate (above). Overage is off by default, and the Free plan can't enable it — on Free, work stops once the monthly credits are gone. Platform admins can also set an overage cap to bound the maximum extra spend.

Changing plans

How do I upgrade?

Dashboard → Billing → Change Plan. Upgrades take effect immediately and you're charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current cycle.

How do I downgrade?

Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle — you keep your current plan's limits until then. Bring usage (seats, storage) under the new plan's limits before the switch.

Can I cancel?

Yes — cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal (Dashboard → Billing → Manage Billing). Your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid period, and your data is retained.

Payments

How do I update my payment method?

Dashboard → Billing → Manage Billing opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can update cards, view receipts, and manage the subscription. All payment data is handled by Stripe — MOD never stores card numbers.

What happens if a payment fails?

You'll get an email, and your subscription enters a 14-day grace period (configurable by the platform admin). If payment still hasn't succeeded when the grace period ends, the tenant is suspended — sign-in is blocked until billing is resolved. Updating your card in the portal clears it.

Can I see my invoices?

Yes — Dashboard → Billing → Invoices lists past invoices with links to the Stripe-hosted invoice and PDF receipt.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds aren't self-serve — contact support / your platform admin, who can issue a refund through the admin billing tools.

Data & privacy

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is retained. You can still sign in, view files, and download outputs; you just can't run new workflows unless you're within Free-tier limits or you resubscribe.

How do I delete my account?

Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete My Account. Your personal data is anonymized immediately; files are retained briefly (cancellable) before permanent deletion, and anonymized records are kept for legal compliance.

Can I export my data?

Yes — Dashboard → Settings → Account → Export My Data generates a JSON export with your profile, file metadata, workflow history, and billing records.
