Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing or using MOD Platform ("Service") operated by MOD Tech Labs ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service​

MOD Platform is a visual computing pipeline platform that provides:

  • File upload, storage, and management
  • Visual processing workflows (image, 3D, video, audio processing)
  • Worker management for distributed computing
  • API access for automation

3. Accounts and Registration​

  • You must provide accurate registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one account

4. Data Ownership​

  • Your Data: You retain all rights to data you upload to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
  • Processing: When you run workflows, your data is processed by containerized applications. We access file metadata (size, type, format) and generate resource usage metrics for scheduling optimization. Some processing nodes inspect file content (e.g., thumbnail generation, blur detection, format analysis).
  • Anonymized Data: We collect anonymized performance metrics (CPU usage, duration, resource curves) to improve our scheduling algorithms. This data cannot be traced back to you or your content.

5. Acceptable Use​

You may not use the Service to:

  • Process illegal content
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Circumvent usage limits or billing
  • Resell the Service without written agreement

6. Billing and Payment​

  • Plans are billed monthly. Prices are listed on our pricing page.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges.
  • Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle with a 30-day grace period for excess usage.
  • Failed payments trigger a 7-day grace period. After that, accounts are downgraded to the free tier.
  • Credits renew monthly and do not roll over.

7. Service Level​

  • We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it.
  • Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure, third-party service failures, or customer infrastructure issues.

8. Termination​

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page.
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with notice.
  • Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days then permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability​

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

10. Changes to Terms​

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
